Receiving Clerk

Receiving Clerk Ensures the proper unloading of product from trailers on the receiving docks. Ensures product is properly tagged for movement. Receiving Clerk Job Responsibilities: Verifies materials against a physical packaging that arrives with the raw materials. Place Inbound shipment tags on each individual pallet/ rack/ container for traceability purposes. Place batch tags on material after SAP receipts are posted. Communicates damage to stock, trailers, or building to the Supervisor. Documents and communicates shortages and overages to direct lead. Marks inbound bolder with red thumb sticker to heighten awareness of overages/ shortages for the clerk. Follows proper receiving procedures for indoor storage. Document and communicate physical location of all raw materials per trailer to the receiving clerk. Work alongside a receiving HILO driver to sustain department 5S principles. Keeps work area neat and in order at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
