CNC Machinist (1st & 2nd Shift)

Pay: $20 to $27 an hour - WEEKLY PAY!

Job Description:

As a CNC Machinist, you will work in a job-shop style environment operating CNC mills and lathes, primarily using Haas vertical milling centers with Fanuc controls, to produce high-quality components for the automotive and lawn care industries.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes in a job shop environment to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Operate Haas vertical milling centers using Fanuc controls, ensuring accurate and efficient machining processes.
• Edit and adjust CNC programs directly at the machine using Fanuc controls and G/M code to improve part quality and cycle times.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers to determine machining operations, sequences, and tooling requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation.
• Collaborate with team members, including programmers and supervisors, to resolve machining issues and optimize production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
• Support consistent production on assigned shift by meeting quality, efficiency, and delivery expectations.
• Assist with or perform basic program edits and adjustments in Mastercam when required, in coordination with programming staff.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amanda, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
