Junior Quantitative Trader

We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Trader to join our Chicago office. This role focuses on quantitative research, model development, and supporting trading strategy execution in a live sports-driven environment. This position is ideal for an early-career quantitative candidate who is excited to work directly with traders and developers while gaining hands‑on exposure to live trading systems. Responsibilities Assist in building and maintaining predictive models and trading strategies Conduct quantitative research using statistical techniques Support development and maintenance of automated trading systems Monitor model performance and assist with testing, validation, and deployment Collaborate with traders and developers to improve systems and workflows Support operational and production tasks tied to live trading Work evenings and weekends during active sports schedules Required Skills 0–2 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role Proficiency in R, Python, and/or SQL Familiarity with regression and foundational statistical modeling techniques Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Willingness to contribute to operational and production support Availability to work evenings and weekends aligned with sports schedules Nice to Have Experience in sports analytics Strong knowledge of major sports Interest in trading, betting markets, or quantitative finance Experience working with market data (financial, crypto, or sports) #J-18808-Ljbffr Dormont Manufacturing Co
