Part-Time Administrative Assistant

The College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant for the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs to assist with a wide range of administrative functions supporting the program's leadership, faculty, staff, and students. Key responsibilities include supporting the Nursing Leadership Team in coordinating and administering undergraduate and graduate nursing program operations, clinical education processes, and program-related events and activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to Nursing program directors, including coordination of clinical readiness and placement activities through EXXAT, support for DNP program events, academic scheduling and event management, and maintenance of program-related records and communications.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain minutes and related documentation for College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP) committee meetings and other designated meetings.
• Provide administrative support to undergraduate and graduate nursing faculty, Nursing program directors, and the Administrative Assistant to the Dean, including management of preceptor licensing and verification, preceptor compensation and recognition activities, credit card reconciliation, student composite photo coordination, and submission and tracking of work orders.
• Assist with other administrative, operational, and programmatic functions as assigned to support the mission and objectives of the nursing programs and the College.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably within a higher education setting, with a strong understanding of academic processes, faculty and student interactions, and data management. Additional years of relevant experience, including experience outside the required areas, may also be considered.

• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Advanced proficiency in office software and tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with knowledge of Excel preferred for data analysis and reporting. Experience with various database platforms is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to manage and interpret data effectively across multiple systems.
