Housekeeping Associate, Portland -Night Shift- Full Time

Job Overview Responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas in the distribution center. Perform other duties as assigned. Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12‑24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. What you will do Cleaning cafeteria, including emptying garbage containers Outdoor cleaning, possible snow removal Cleaning office areas, including vacuuming, dusting, and removing garbage Sweeping and buffing floors Cleaning restrooms, following appropriate guidelines for bloodborne pathogens Appropriate cleaning and disposal of blood or other potentially infectious material spills Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. Who you are No Education or Experience Required Must be able to Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English Understand and communicate effectively with co‑workers and people leaders Resourceful self‑starter, works well independently as well as part of a team Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays Essential Physical Requirements Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, depth perception and color vision Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs Drug Testing Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi‑monthly basis, depending on factors such as facility size. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances, and within 24 hours of notification.
