About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for an 80-day assignment in Florida. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend shifts, and a split between two office locations. The chosen candidate will manage typical lens fitting, eyeglasses, contacts, and dry eye treatments, along with pre- and post-operative surgical care and comprehensive vision services for both adults and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform typical lens fitting for eyeglasses and contacts.
• Provide dry eye treatments.
• Manage pre- and post-operative surgical care and markings, including assisting with early morning surgeries as needed.
• Conduct comprehensive vision examinations for adults and pediatric patients.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Optometry

• Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Patient Volume: 30–40 patients per day
• LOA: 80 Days
• Staffing Mix: Approximately 30 tech staff available; dedicated scribes not guaranteed
