About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President of Programs and Strategy to lead the strategic development of its global programs and engage with key stakeholders to advance the organization's mission. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in senior leadership, particularly in the nonprofit or international development sectors, and a deep commitment to the rights and needs of forcibly displaced people. This role is pivotal in setting the organization's program vision, leading programmatic development, and ensuring that all programs are aligned with the mission and strategic goals. The EVP will also be responsible for fostering partnerships, representing the organization in policy and funding networks, and spearheading innovation in the field of refugee and migrant rights. Candidates for this role should have an advanced degree in law, a strong background in program leadership, and a history of successful engagement with development teams and donors. The role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to translate complex legal concepts into compelling narratives, and a commitment to equity and justice. Experience in impact litigation and a deep understanding of refugee protections, particularly in the U.S. or European context, are essential. The EVP will be expected to lead a talented team, manage cross-functional partnerships, and contribute to the organization's strategic planning and budgeting processes. A key aspect of the role is the ability to foster a high-performance culture, ensure effective program outcomes, and provide a supportive, inclusive work environment.
