Job Description

Bus Driver/Trainee Description: Operate a school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or designated locations. Responsible for the safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Responsibilities:

• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Complete required bus driver safety training
• Communicate effectively
• Manage student behavior
• Knowledge of student discipline procedure
• Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
• Able to work with the public and work around children of all ages

Qualifications:

• High School diplomas or equivalent preferred
• Valid Texas commercial driver's license or will train (Endorsement P and S brakes preferred)
• Texas School Bus Driver Certification (Preferred)
• Must pass annual physical

Experience: At least one year experience as school bus driver preferred. Position Type: Full-time Job Categories:
