Location 1100 FESCO AVE.,Alice, TX, 78332,United States Employee Type Exempt Full-Time Required Degree 4 Year Degree Travel 25% Manage Others No Responsibilities and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques Experience in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment Ability to perform complex chemical analysis and interpretation of results Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a laboratory setting 24 hour on call during duty week Maintain Class \"C\" driver's license with the ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites and field offices Load and unload pelican cases and lab equipment weighing +/- 70 lbs Work in all type of weather conditions Ability to work in a toxic atmospheric environment (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas) while wearing a self-contained full-face sealed respiratory equipment weighing +/- 30 lbs Ability to climb oil storage tank stairways while wearing a self-contained full-face sealed respiratory equipment weighing +/- 30 lbs. Ability to assist a fellow co-worker in the event of an emergency by dragging them out of harm's way Conduct lab analysis at benchtop during an 8+ hour day Knowledgeable of ASTN and GPA methods and calculations Ability to communicate lab procedures and sampling methods to fellow co-workers and to customers Conduct quality checks on lab data Ability to process reports sitting at a desk for 8+ hours Attend applicable training courses Familiarize with FESCO's company handbook and comply with all company policies and procedures #J-18808-Ljbffr
