Adult Mental Health Manager - Clinic or Addiction Sites Location & Schedule Indian Health Clinic on Hancock - Portland, OR 97212 Clinic Sites: Indian Health Clinic - 703 NE Hancock St, Portland, OR 97212 Wellness Center - 12360 E Burnside St., Portland, OR 97233 Addiction Sites: Residential - 17645 NW St. Helens Hwy, Portland, OR 97231 Outpatient - 355 NW Division St, Gresham, OR 97030 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm; occasional evenings and weekends required. Position Overview The Adult Mental Health Manager provides administrative and clinical oversight for mental health services across the Adult Mental Health Program. This includes supervision of therapists, behavioral health consultants, specialty case managers, and other direct services staff serving adults and families, and supports culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for Native American and Alaska Native individuals. Responsibilities Provide administrative and clinical supervision for direct service staff. Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of therapists/counselors, students/interns, and behavioral health consultants. Provide direct clinical services equivalent to one quarter of the caseload of a full-time therapist. Develop, implement, and promote culturally appropriate mental health treatment services in alignment with community values. Coordinate and implement workflows such as BHC models, SBIRT, and outcomes tracking. Collaborate across Mental Health, Medical, Dental, and Alcohol & Drug Treatment teams to ensure integrated care delivery. Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and staff retention efforts. Ensure ongoing quality assurance through activities such as chart reviews. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Oregon (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist). Meets Oregon Administrative Rule requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting. Meets Oregon Administrative Rule requirements to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians. Completion of the required 30-hour clinical supervision training in Oregon. Successfully passed the Oregon licensing board’s Law and Rules exam. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Oregon - preferred. Previous program management experience - preferred. Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community - a plus. Proven ability to collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in a respectful, culturally informed manner. Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and model ethical conduct. Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse populations. Passes pre-employment and for-cause drug testing, criminal background, and DMV checks.
