The desired candidate will have experience advising on the U.S. federal income tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets offerings, financings, and joint ventures. Top academic credentials are a prerequisite. Technical proficiency in corporate tax, partnership tax, and international tax will be favorably considered. Applicants must be admitted to and a member in good standing of that state’s bar in which office you are applying to. The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $310,000 to $390,000 (annually) if located in an office in the state of California, District of Columbia, Illinois, or New York. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
