You will be leading design and manufacturing support for military and commercial turboshaft engines such as the T700 and CT7 variants. The position integrates with the mechanical component design team and systems team while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and leading strategic and tactical efforts. Responsibilities include engineering execution, project leadership, and MRB (Material Review Board) duties, tagging documents, and ensuring adherence to business standards and delivering high-quality technical solutions. What’s more, GE Aerospace has invested more than $100 million in our facility in the last five years alone.# **Job Description****Roles and Responsibilities*** Module leader and design engineer to support the T700/CT7 cold section module, Specifically, the front frame and main frame, along with other key clear-to-build constraints that could impact engine shipment readiness.* This position will cover all relevant commodities in the cold section including rotating parts, structures, cold airfoils, and clearances* This position will support collaboration with suppliers including additive, new machining sources, insourcing, casting strategies and will work to accelerate issue resolution, improve supplier alignment, and support capacity recovery.* This role will require tagger certification and training. It is not necessarily a prerequisite but training and eventual certification will be required.* Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products* Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.* In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.* Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.* A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
