Senior AccountantOur client, a global manufacturer in Alpharetta, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting, this hands-on role will play a key part in the month-end close process and general ledger management. The Senior Accountant will help build scalable processes, strengthen controls, and support a best-in-class accounting function at a growing organization. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to take ownership of core close and reporting work in a hybrid role (minimum three days in office).Responsibilities:Prepare and record journal entries and accruals in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls, supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, and help ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.Assist with internal and external financial reporting, compiling and analyzing financial data to support management decision-making and ad hoc requests.Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, including through AI and automation tools, and support system and ERP enhancements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.2–5+ years of relevant accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and US GAAP, with ERP experience (JDE or SAP a plus) and familiarity with Blackline.Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and exposure to or interest in AI tools such as Copilot preferred.
