Accounting Specialist / Coordinator- Healthcare IT Staffing Firm
support day-to-day accounting, administrative, and operational finance tasks in a fully
remote role. This position will begin as a flexible part-time role of approximately 20–25
hours per week and may expand to full-time as responsibilities and business needs
grow. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, communicating clearly,
and using accounting and collaboration tools to keep financial and administrative
processes organized and accurate. Key Responsibilities

- Schedule: Flexible, approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Compensation: $25–$35 per hour
- Reports To: Hiring Manager / Direct Supervisor

processes organized and accurate. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage client invoicing, including accounts receivable tracking for time-and-materials billing.
- Monitor timesheets and assist with roster management to ensure accurate records and timely processing.
- Process and track expense reimbursements in accordance with company procedures.
- Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including coordination of required documentation and system access steps.
- Assist with payroll and benefits-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Investigate accounting, billing, payroll, or administrative issues and communicate action items clearly with clients, consultants, and vendors.
- Maintain organized financial and operational records using accounting, spreadsheet, and collaboration tools.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable using Gmail, Google Meet, Google Chat, and related collaboration tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to research issues, follow through on open items, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Staffing Industry experience is highly preferred
