OB Registered Nurse Med Surg

Shift: 1745-0600

Assignment Details

This position involves working in a small rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH), with responsibilities occurring in both OB and Med Surg departments. The nurse will primarily work Med Surg as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in OB and Med Surg nursing
• CAH experience is preferred
• CPSI/Perigen charting experience
• Current Kansas or Multistate nursing license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, and NRP certifications required, all via AHA
• Flu vaccine strongly preferred (religious and medical exemptions accepted)

Responsibilities

• Provide care with a 1:1 patient ratio in OB and a 1:3 patient ratio in Med Surg
• May occasionally take charge
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
