We are a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre-K through grade 12 students, in a vibrant learning community of 17 state of the art buildings in west-central Ohio. As a School Psychologistyou are required to: Master's Degree and Ohio School Psychologist license Preferred Qualification: Experience/training in assessment, consultation, and counseling of preschool age and/or school age children Experience with a Multi-Tiered System of Support for all students Valid Ohio administrative license or certificate appropriate for the assignment As a School Psychologis t topromote workplace safety, employees are expected to exercise caution and comply with district procedures to reduce exposure to the following situations: Duties that require operating and/or riding in a vehicle Duties that require traveling tomeetings and work assignments Duties that require working 20 totalextended days before and after the school year Exposure to adverse weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases Interactions with aggressive, disruptive, and /or unruly individuals What We Offer: As a contracted employee, School Psychologistwork183days per year with a possibility of 20extended days and 7.25hours per day. Starting salaryis in accordance with the negotiated agreement, increases withexperience and education.In addition, Springfield is also able to offer a $10,000.00 retention compensation to all School Psychologist. Please note: The salary will be prorated based on your start date and the number of remaining contracted days left in the school year. Contracted employees receive competitive benefits. All employees receive professional development The Springfield Education Association and the Board of Education are currently working on a new professional agreement. While that is in the works, please refer to the current agreement as to pay and benefits that are in place for the 2023-26school year.
