Job Duties

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their personal functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living capabilities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in harmony with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers in therapy methods to ensure sustained progress outside of the clinical setting.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Record clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients are continually advancing toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is provided

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
