You'll provide excellent customer service while processing, picking, and staging customer orders, supporting counter, warehouse, and yard operations in a safe and organized environment.Typical ResponsibilitiesDeliver an excellent customer experience by meeting or exceeding customer expectationsAssist counter customers by answering questions, identifying needs, and processing sales ordersPick, package, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently, typically within one hour of order releaseUnderstand warehouse/yard layout, bin locations, and product inventoryVerify orders, label materials, complete documentation, and stage orders in designated locationsHandle materials carefully to prevent damage, shipping errors, and inventory discrepanciesOperate material handling equipment safely and follow all safety proceduresSupport stocking, cleanliness, and organization of the counter, warehouse, and yardBuild and maintain positive customer relationships and support product promotionsAssist warehouse and other team members as neededMaintain regular, reliable attendance and work safely at all timesEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent; or1–2 years of related experience and training; orAn equivalent combination of education and experience.Certifications & LicensesAbility to pass operator exam and safely operate powered industrial equipment.Must pass a substance abuse screening.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentFrequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, grasp, handle, reach, and use fingers.Regularly required to sit, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs.Must perform essential job functions safely and with consistent alertness.Vision requirements include near and far vision, depth perception, and color vision.Work performed primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to extreme weather.
