Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support a world-class manufacturing operation through data-driven reliability initiatives. As part of the Maintenance team, this individual will begin each day by reviewing production updates from the previous shift, assessing equipment performance, and prioritizing any operational issues impacting production. When equipment is running smoothly, the focus shifts to optimization efforts, including analyzing recurring equipment problems, identifying opportunities to improve equipment design, materials, and maintenance strategies, and implementing long-term reliability improvements. The Reliability Engineer will lead root cause failure analyses, develop corrective actions to prevent future failures, and optimize preventive maintenance programs through PMO assessments and maintenance strategy enhancements. Additionally, as the facility has experienced significant growth and capital investment over the past several years, this individual will support the integration of new equipment into SAP.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience within a food & beverage manufacturing environment, preferably supporting fermentation processes.

• Hands-on experience with equipment reliability and troubleshooting methodologies, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO), and/or predictive maintenance programs.

• Experience using a CMMS system, preferably SAP Plant Maintenance.

• Experience analyzing equipment failures and implementing solutions to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize production equipment.

• Spare part assessment experience as the Reliability Engineer will be acting as the site lead for identifying what rebuild or repair kits are required to keep production going. -Experience adding new production equipment into SAP and developing associated preventive and predictive maintenance plans, including task lists and maintenance strategies within SAP.
