Epic Beaker | WellSky Transfusion | Data Innovations Senior Analyst / Lead
\nLocation: Remote
\n \nAre you an experienced Epic Beaker professional with expertise in Blood Bank, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and Instrument Middleware Integration ? We are seeking a Senior Analyst / Lead to drive laboratory technology solutions, optimize diagnostic workflows, and support critical patient care operations across Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, and Transfusion Services.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n✅ Serve as the primary liaison between Laboratory Leadership, Pathologists, Blood Bank teams, and technical stakeholders.
\n✅ Lead design, build, testing, and support of:
\n- \n
- Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) \n
- Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) \n
- WellSky Transfusion (SoftBank/Mediware) \n
- Data Innovations Instrument Manager \n
✅ Configure and optimize:
\n- \n
- Test catalogs, specimen workflows, accessioning, result reporting \n
- Auto-verification rules and reflex testing logic \n
- Blood product tracking and transfusion workflows \n
- Analyzer and instrument interfaces \n
- HL7 and middleware integrations \n
✅ Manage integrations with:
\n- \n
- Reference laboratories (Quest, LabCorp) \n
- Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) systems \n
- Epic Rover and Order Transmittal (OTx) \n
- ClinDoc, ASAP, OpTime, Orders, and Revenue Cycle modules \n
✅ Partner with offshore and onshore teams to deliver scalable, compliant laboratory solutions.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Strong hands-on experience with Epic Beaker CP/AP \n
- Expertise in WellSky Transfusion (SoftBank/Mediware) \n
- Experience with Data Innovations Instrument Manager \n
- Deep understanding of laboratory workflows, blood bank operations, and instrument connectivity \n
- Knowledge of HL7 interfaces, middleware, and laboratory integrations \n
- Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards including CAP, AABB, CLIA, and FDA \n
- Experience working directly with Pathologists, Laboratory Directors, and Clinical Operations teams \n
Preferred

- Epic Beaker Certifications (CP and/or AP) \n
- Healthcare IT consulting or implementation experience \n
- Experience supporting large hospital systems, academic medical centers, or integrated health networks \n
