Dietary Manager

Inn at the Pines - Dietary Manager Join our team at Inn at the Pines, a premier assisted living and memory care community in Hiram, Ohio! As a passionate and experienced individual, you will have the opportunity to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. About the Role: As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department including food preparation, and supervision of dietary staff. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality food and service, while also maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities: Interview, hire, train, and schedule dietary staff to meet the needs of the operation Promote employee relations and supervise dietary staff through positive reinforcement and education Create and monitor compliance with cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures Assist with food preparation and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies while staying within budgetary constraints Meet with residents to develop specialty meals and be creative with menu items Work with the Director of Wellness and Dietician for special diets or textures Be a member of the Leadership Team and assist other departments as necessary Requirements: 1 year of experience in dietary management (preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work varying shifts, including day shifts We Offer: Competitive salary to be discussed during the interview process Comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health, vision, and paid time off A supportive and dynamic work environment If you are a culinary professional with a passion for providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
