Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology RN

Schedule: Days with call responsibilities; guaranteed 40 hours/week. Call required on weekends and as needed.

Assignment Details: Patient ratios are 1:1 during days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Valid permanent RN license in California
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• Reference: 2 supervisor references from the past year required at time of submission
• Experience with interventional procedures (angiography, embolization, stenting, and neuro interventions) is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for various diagnoses including stroke, trauma, and peripheral ischemia
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures
• Perform vascular access and management tasks

Compliance / Notes: Pre-start and orientation modules are required, with the first hours being billable. Max time off is 2 weeks total, no time off within the first 2 weeks of assignment.
