Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Document care and progress accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families regarding post-surgical care and recovery
