Pediatric Or Tech Surgical TechThe role requires experience in surgical technology with a pediatric focus. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience. The position may require rotation or floating based on unit needs. Varying start times may include 0600, 0700, and 0800. Most shifts typically consist of 8 to 10 hours. Modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment and will not be billable. Weekly compliance is required before the start date. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is mandatory. Shifts missed due to call outs are to be made up. Candidates should have familiarity with a range of surgical procedures including pediatric general, neuro, and ortho surgeries. Skills in aseptic technique, instrument processing, and sterilization are essential. Adherence to safety protocols is expected. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team are vital for success in this role.
