CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine OperatorOur client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a CNC Machine Operator for their San Antonio, TX location. Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC milling machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, selecting and installing appropriate tooling and fixtures, monitoring machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment, conducting quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize processes, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and documenting production data and maintaining accurate records.Requirements include 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, 5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.), 5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controls, strong computing skills, excellent communication skills and customer-oriented. Preferred qualifications include experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).Why should you apply?
