Elder Care Provider Wanted - Kind & Experienced Caregiver Needed - Senior Care (South Greensboro / Southern Guilford Area Close To Pleasant Garden)

Hello, we are the Austin family from Greensboro, NC.
My brother and I are seeking a patient, experienced caregiver to support our 93-year-old father with dementia. The ideal candidate is calm, engaging, and compassionate—someone who enjoys providing meaningful companionship as well as quality care.
Responsibilities: Assist with personal care
Provide companionship and conversation
Help with light housekeeping
Prepare simple meals and snacks
Schedule: We are flexible, but the hours we are currently in need of are:
Tuesday & Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Wednesday: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Alternating weekends: Your choice of Saturday (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or Sunday (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
Our father is very sweet, easy to please, and, on his good days, quick-witted. He likes someone who is willing to pick and "cut up" with him. The way to his heart is with sweets—cookies, ice cream, cake, you name it!
His normal routine begins with coffee and a light breakfast, morning medications, and then assistance with shaving. After that, he enjoys watching his favorite shows: Gunsmoke, The Last Alaskans, Life Below Zero, or other old Westerns. For lunch, he usually prefers something light, such as soup, a sandwich, or a pre-prepared meal. By 3:00 PM, he is usually ready for a nap.
He does occasionally experience sundowning and can become confused in the evenings. However, my brother and I are usually close by and are only ever a phone call away. He has a hospice nurse who comes in to bathe him, but he is incontinent and wears Depends.
