MR Technologist (Imaging)

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time MR Technologist (Imaging) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital MRI Department! Join our brand-new Tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a leading academic medical center known for innovation and excellence!!!

Position Details:

• NO CALL!!!
• Night Shift Hours: Overnight (Wed/Th/Fri) for either 12's (6pm-6:30am) or 13's (5pm-6:30am)
• Full-Time 36 Hours per Week
• Benefits Eligible
• 5% Advanced Modality Differential
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Requirements:

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)

Preferred Qualifications:

Role Purpose:

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
