Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Summary Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). An RRT assesses patients, develops, implements, and evaluates care plans, administers medications, and offers health education to patients and families. Acts as a clinical resource, collaborates with healthcare team members, and provides clinical leadership to enhance patient outcomes. Supports continuous learning and completes assigned goals to improve healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Assess patients and develop care plans Implement and evaluate care strategies Administer prescribed medications Educate patients and families about health management Collaborate with team members for quality care Provide clinical leadership and support ongoing learning Complete assigned objectives Qualifications & Skills Recent clinical respiratory care experience (hospital, home care, skilled nursing) Associates in Applied Sciences - Respiratory Therapy (minimum) Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office) Licensure as an RRT, Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS certification within 14 days Preferred: 1 year hospital experience, ACLS certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Provident Behavioral Health
