Part‑time positions require a minimum of 30 hours per week. Position Overview Relationship Specialist I – responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences across all interactions. Builds relationships, identifies member needs, and positions VyStar Credit Union solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding service during telephone and in‑person interactions. Identify member cues, ask open‑ended discovery questions, and grow consumer and business relationships. Understand and position consumer and business deposit, credit, insurance, and investment solutions. Handle account transactions, open accounts, and process loan applications. Explain credit and savings options; refer more complex products such as mortgage solutions, investments, and insurance. Offer additional services: account maintenance, notary, wire transfer, savings bond redemption, safe deposit box, fraud claims, credit card disputes. Support all credit union initiatives, campaigns, and community service activities. Exercise sound judgment, maintain compliance with limits and guidelines, and work independently. Resolve member problems, seeking positive outcomes and escalating when necessary. Demonstrate VyStar’s Standards of Excellence and member service commitments. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred. Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a financial institution. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient with the Internet and Microsoft Office. Outgoing personality with strong desire to help people. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong critical thinking and decision‑making abilities. Passion for sales and ability to work independently. Physical & Work Environment May need to stand for the duration of the shift. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
