We are a growth-focused Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Cleveland, Ohio, and we take pride in building a team of sharp, driven, and consistently curious engineers who thrive in a client-facing, project-driven environment.We are seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a fully onsite role. You will work directly with clients and internal teams to design, lead, and deliver complex IT projects across a wide range of technologies. If you have experience delivering projects in an MSP environment, you understand the pace, accountability, and technical rigor this role requires. That background is foundational to this position and central to how we build our team.What You Will DoConsult with clients to assess requirements and recommend technically sound, business-aligned solutionsLead small project teams or serve as a senior engineer within larger project engagementsManage and deliver projects across Microsoft platforms, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, backup and recovery, and securityGuide and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and raising the technical bar across the teamConduct IT environment discovery and assessments for new and existing clientsLead infrastructure projects tied to mergers and acquisitions, new location buildouts, and cloud migrations (including Microsoft 365)Design and implement centralized computing solutionsArchitect and deploy server virtualization and data center solutionsDesign and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions that meet client business continuity requirementsTravel locally to client sites as neededWhat We Are Looking ForExperience - Required:5+ years of project delivery and engineering experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP). This experience is essential, and candidates without MSP project delivery backgrounds are unlikely to be a strong fit.5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft platform (Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, etc.)Demonstrated ability to independently lead and execute IT projects from scoping through deliveryExperience - Preferred:Prior mid-market or IT consulting experienceSolutions Architect experienceCyber security experienceTechnical certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, VMware, CompTIA, etc.) are a plusSkills and Attributes:Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersInternally motivated with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes independently and as part of a teamOrganized, analytical, and comfortable managing competing project prioritiesGenuine commitment to client service and client experienceA degree in a technology or business-related field is preferredLocation RequirementThis is a full-time, onsite role based in our Cleveland, Ohio office, with regular engagement at local client sites. The position requires consistent in-person collaboration and client presence. Candidates must be local to the Cleveland area or willing to relocate.
