TRANSCRIPTIONIST

Responsibilities Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112‑bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13‑17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. We are currently recruiting a part‑time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and is located in our HIM Medical Records Department. Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist Responsibilities Review patient records. Complete a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge. Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or another related field, or a licensed nurse. Minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment, or equivalent experience. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
