We need a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support efforts to manage our new infrastructure platform. This is an award-winning team that enjoys unleashing the power of technology for intelligence professionals and warfighters.Responsibilities:Leverage OpenShift and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environmentCreate and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using ansible, chef, or similar toolsCreate and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, Cucumber, JMeter, and Cypress.ioMonitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applicationsOversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation.Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.Minimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of total professional experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree).Demonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and strong Linux experience.Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development teamCommunicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forumsWillingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA.Desired Qualifications:Experience with:Hardware and software sustainment with IC and DoD networks.Distributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services.Developing and deploying web servicesWorking with open-source resources in a government computing environmentMaintaining backend GIS technologiesICD 503Big data technologies such as ElasticSearch, Accumulo, Spark, Hive, or HadoopFamiliarity with:Hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, RedHat, AWS, C2S, and OpenShift.Concepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interfaces, DatabasesCompTIA Security+ or comparable certification for privileged user access.Experience in/or supporting military/intelligence or knowledge of some TCPED systems is a plus! #cjpost#LI-RD#LI-OnsitePay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $140,000.00 - $187,000.00 - $205,700.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
