Industrial Sales Support Specialist

Coastal Hydraulics is seeking an Industrial Sales Support Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your detail-oriented organizational and sales support skills to aide in meeting our industrial customer’s hydraulic and pneumatic remanufacturing and repair needs.

Primary Duties

·        Aide in generating quotes for outside sales and house accounts.

·        Serve as a project management resource for outside sales.

·        Process quotes and work orders in internal Work Order Management System.

·        Create product orders.

·        Use Microsoft Office software and the Web to obtain pertinent information for fulfilling customers’ needs.

·        Participate in all training, including but not limited to on-site classes, off-site courses and Web-based education to keep up to date on hydraulic and pneumatic product technology.

·        Communicate effectively with all departments.

·        Assist with the development and implementation of sales process improvements including the use of databases, our internal Work Order Management System, Cougar Mountain accounting software and other technologies.

·        Daily processing of incoming and outgoing parts, components, and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ direct customer sales, parts research, quoting and/or ordering experience in mechanical shop operations, parts requisition, or project management functions.
• Hands-on mechanical experience preferred, but not required.
• Proven record of effective organizational skills in planning or allocating resources to meet deadlines and create efficiencies.
• Working experience with customer order processing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills to problem solve.
