Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations for our residential building projects. You will act as the primary on-site leader, managing subcontractors, maintaining strict build schedules, enforcing quality and safety standards, and ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest craftsmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Operations: Own daily on-site operations, including scheduling trade partners, coordinating material deliveries, and managing job-site logistics.
Schedule Execution: Maintain and update 2-week look-ahead schedules to drive critical-path milestones and prevent delays.
Subcontractor Coordination: Hire, direct, evaluate, and hold trade partners accountable to their contractual scopes of work, quality benchmarks, and schedules.
Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular field inspections at key construction phases, coordinate local municipal and code inspections, and manage punch-list completion.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols, maintaining a clean, hazard-free, and organized job site at all times.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners, project managers, architects, and internal teams regarding progress and field updates.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, progress photos, inspection records, and as-built markups using construction management software.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3+ to 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Residential Superintendent or Lead Assistant Superintendent for a residential general contractor or homebuilder.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential building science, local building codes, blueprint reading, and trade sequencing (foundation, framing, MEP, finishes).
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Fieldwire, or similar platforms).
Certifications: Current OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain) and valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk job sites daily in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Salary Range: Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
