Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)This is a 13-week contract position.Rotating Day/Mids, 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:30 / 11:00 - 23:30, every other weekend and holidays required.We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide care in a fast-paced, high-volume general emergency department serving a diverse adult and pediatric population. The ER RN will be a key member of the healthcare team, overseeing a wide range of complex patient diagnoses from pediatric to geriatric patients.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care in an emergency department setting.Effectively manage patient ratios of 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity conditions.Administer emergency medications and perform critical interventions such as intubation and blood product administration.Conduct triage assessments and initiate care for patients presenting with various complaints.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.Active RN license in Maryland or Compact license.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certification required (CPI certification will be provided during onboarding).Previous charge nurse experience preferred.Experience with Epic charting system.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
