Position Summary:

The Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant draws blood or other specimens from patients in hospital, or similar facilities for analysis or other medical purposes.

Department: Laboratory

Status: Full-Time; 40 hours per week; Days; Non-exempt; Weekend Rotation

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Phlebotomist certification or prior phlebotomy experience

Market Range: $16.00 - $25.00 / hour

Competencies and Skills:

Possess excellent customer service skills
Efficiently and accurately perform basic data entry
Frequently required to stand and walk, occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch
Valid driver's license required
