CAD Designer (Direct Hire)

About the job CAD Designer (Direct Hire) FCS is seeking an experienced CAD Designer for a leading industrial manufacturer in Newark, DE. In this role, the CAD Designer will play a key part in supporting the Project Management team by creating, revising, and reviewing detailed 2D and 3D blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with AutoCAD 2D & 3D software, and a background working within a Welding/Fabrication & CNC Machining environment. Experience using ASME (Section I, IV, or VIII) standards in developing and modifying technical blueprints and drawings. Skilled in creating and reading shop fabrication drawings, spreadsheets, technical engineering drawings, specifications. Ability to create BOMs, technical drawings and preliminary cost estimates. 2 Year Technical Degree is highly preferred. Must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
