Cardiovascular Technician II

What You Will Do Responsible for maintaining the equipment and supplies; assists in the acquisition of data by performing EKG, and with application of holter/event monitors independently; including explanation of test, application of electrodes using accepted techniques and placement, recognizes the difference between acceptable waveforms, artifact and rhythm abnormalities. Assists with stress echo and nuclear stress testing according to hospital and departmental policy. Properly bills for completed procedures. Must demonstrate the ability to assess patients' status and identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age specific needs. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
