Mechanical Design Adjunct Instructor

Job Overview Minimum Pay $0.00. Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. The Mechanical Design department is seeking positive, dynamic, student‑centered individuals to teach a diverse community of learners the desired skills for today’s workplace. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Responsibilities Teach coursework in Mechanical Design. Develop and update curriculum. Participate in departmental and college activities. Provide teaching demonstrations during the interview process. Travel to other campuses as required; may teach day, evening, and/or weekend classes. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years full‑time related occupational experience or approved Journey‑worker status. Associate’s degree in a career field and at least 4 years full‑time related occupational experience. Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or a related discipline and at least 2 years full‑time related occupational experience. Passing a background check. Compensation $580 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH). Payment may include day, evening, and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
