Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years of cloud experience
• Hands-on experience with two or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
• Experience developing Java-based application programming interfaces (APIs) and event-driven applications to optimize back-end performance
• Strong background in relational databases
• Experience working with AWS services such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPCs, Security Groups, and ELB
• Extensive knowledge of Docker containers, with the ability to implement containerization from scratch
• Proficiency in CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins for deploying application Docker containers in production and non-production environments
• Experience working with AWS EKS, RDS, and other AWS infrastructure components for deploying applications and managing containerized interactions
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure ARM templates)
• Familiarity with event-driven microservice architecture
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Architect certification
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Experience with Consumer-Driven Contract Testing (PACT, etc.)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and front-end languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
