Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (Acute Neuro Unit) Location Cumming, GA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, Varies 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on an Acute Neuro Unit in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients Monitor and document patient neurological status and report changes to the care team Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Prior experience in an acute neuro or neuroscience unit Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a specialized acute neuro environment with a dedicated clinical team Contract position offering flexibility and professional growth in a high-acuity setting Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774906.
