Key responsibilities include:Conducting thorough and detailed evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues, taking into account their medical history, physical condition, and specific needs.Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans designed to restore functional mobility and reduce pain, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.Collaborating effectively with our healthcare team to facilitate seamless communication and integrated patient care strategies.Maintaining meticulous documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards, ensuring all patient interactions and treatment progress are accurately recorded.Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote healthy living, wellness, and preventive care.Staying engaged in continuous professional development through attending team meetings, workshops, and educational programs that enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions, spanning across all ages and backgrounds. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient, you will leverage your expertise to empower individuals on their journey to recovery and functional independence.QualificationsThe following qualifications are required for this position:A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively connect with patients and colleagues.Proficiency in computer applications and documentation systems relevant to physical therapy practice.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with current physical therapy methodologies and practices.
