Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12-hour shifts Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the specialty required License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The position involves working with various surgical procedures including kidney transplant, hysterectomy, and urological surgeries. Experience with the Davinci Xi robotic system is essential. Candidates must have experience in both gynecological and urological robotics. Responsibilities include administration of blood products and handling of specimens. A strong knowledge of infection control and safety protocols is necessary. Must be comfortable with patient caseloads and responsive to emergency situations. The position requires weekend rotation and participation in a weekday call schedule. A telemetry exam will be part of the onboarding process, with strict passing criteria. The role mandates adherence to universal protocol and safety practices within the operating room. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
