Salary Range: $140,000 – $150,000 per year + Benefits
Role Summary
Lead the evolution of an existing Proof of Concept (POC) into a scalable, enterprise-ready data solution while ensuring reliability, maintainability, extensibility, and cost efficiency across cloud-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of an existing POC into a scalable enterprise-ready data solution
- Materialize Auto Join outputs into Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Establish reliable ingestion of Tree Inventory data
- Ensure the solution is cost-efficient, maintainable, and extensible for future two-way integrations
- Develop and optimize ETL/data pipelines using GCP services and Snowflake
- Manage orchestration workflows and cloud-native engineering services
- Support performance optimization, scalability, and operational reliability of data platforms
Required Skills
Strong experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
Expertise in BigQuery and SQL
Hands-on experience with GCP data services
Experience with Snowflake
Knowledge of data orchestration tools and workflows
Experience in cost optimization for cloud data platforms
Cloud engineering experience with services such as Workflows, Cloud Run, and GAR (Google Artifact Registry)
