North Star Community Credit Union is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Retail Branch Manager to lead our Minot AFB Branch .

Your Impact
As Retail Branch Manager, you'll lead the overall success of the Minot AFB Branch, including team development, member experience, lending growth, operational excellence, and community involvement.
You'll empower your team, identify opportunities for growth, and help meet the unique financial needs of military members, their families, and the surrounding community.

Support employee growth and development
Drive Results
Lead branch performance in lending, member service, new accounts, and relationships
Translate organizational goals into branch action plans
Monitor results and identify opportunities for improvement
Strengthen Lending
Identify lending opportunities and support meaningful financial conversations
Underwrite and approve loans within assigned authority
Help members find solutions that support their financial goals
Build Relationships & Community Presence
Develop strong relationships with members and community partners
Represent North Star within the Minot AFB community
Strengthen member loyalty through exceptional service
Ensure Operational Excellence
Maintain compliance, security, and strong internal controls
Oversee staffing, scheduling, reporting, and daily branch operations
Solve challenges with ownership, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused mindset

What You BringExperience & Education
3-5 years of leadership experience in banking, credit union, or financial services
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Leadership Skills
Strong coaching and team-development abilities
Strategic thinking and goal execution
Ownership, accountability, and results-driven leadership
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and exceptional member service
Certifications & Requirements
NMLS registration within 2 months of hire
FiCEP certification within 6 months of hire
Insurance License within 9 months of hire
