Position Summary:

The Homecare Office Assistant performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of numerous operational functions. Provides efficient customer service for all patients, staff and management helping to create a positive atmosphere which feeds to positive outcomes in patient experience. Provides timely and effective follow up and follow through. Manages multiple priorities and pays attention to details to ensure accuracy. Triages calls and responds to patient inquiries appropriately. Performs audit analysis. Trains as cross coverage functionality to achieve/maintain office efficiencies. Understands and utilizes EMR system consistent with role. Performs special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• One year office experience
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Excellent communicator
• Positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with office support in a healthcare setting
• Experience with EPIC
