Social Worker  Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works closely with the residents to identify their various needs and develop adequate assistance strategies.

• Collecting information about residents medical history and family background to determine if you are able to provide the help they need.

• Responsibilities include: treating the emotional, behavioral conditions and problems, assessing new clients to come up with a treatment plan that addresses determined needs, offer adjustment support for those that lack family support, facilitating group activities that encourage interaction with other residents, and conducting administrative tasks that are crucial to the day to day operations of a nursing facility.

Social Worker  Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.

• Licensed clinical social worker.

• New grads are welcome to apply. We will provide full training.

• Experience working with clients that are affected by issues including neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and parental substance abuse.

• Ability to stay calm and empathize with clients when they are upset.

• Experience in LTC/Skilled Nursing preferred

• Compassionate working with the geriatric population
