Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts, 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other areas appropriate to skillset as needed, including nearby facilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency departments
• Comfort with floating to various units or departments within scope of practice
