Role Description The Used Car Sales Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based at MileOne Autogroup in Parkville, MD. This role oversees all pre‑owned vehicle sales operations, including managing the sales team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective sales processes are followed. The manager will work closely with customers to maintain high levels of satisfaction, support sales staff in closing deals, and ensure pricing and inventory strategies align with business objectives. Daily responsibilities include coaching and training team members, reviewing sales reports, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Used Car Sales Manager is expected to promote a professional, customer‑focused environment that drives consistent sales growth. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in pre‑owned vehicle sales and sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong focus on customer satisfaction and customer service to build long‑term relationships and encourage repeat business. Proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing sales processes that support efficient and ethical sales operations. Previous experience in automotive sales management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a dealership environment. Effective leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide sales professionals. Solid business acumen, including understanding of inventory management, pricing strategies, and basic financial metrics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial. Comfort with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
