Learning to operate greenhouse environmental control systems, program irrigation, and evaluate alarms. Prefilling pots/trays for propagation using automated equipment and supporting greenhouse maintenance and organization. Assisting with research setup and takedown, preparing soil mixes, installing irrigation, and collaborating on data collection. Performing routine checks and troubleshooting on greenhouse chambers, equipment, and lighting. Driving work trucks between sites to transport plant material and supplies. Attending group and project meetings, and communicating updates or issues promptly. Following good sanitation practices, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required). Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience (entry level). Are interested in greenhouse operations, plant propagation, and irrigation. Demonstrate strong organizational, observational, and communication skills. Are willing to receive Ag Worker Training and Pesticide Handler Training. Can work effectively both independently (especially on weekends and holidays) and as part of a team. Are comfortable working in greenhouse, outdoor field, and laboratory settings, sometimes in physically demanding conditions. Have basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Prioritize tasks efficiently and pay high attention to detail.
